See, I am a librarian. I know, you are probably thinking: aren’t librarians quiet book pushers who wear glasses and don a bun? Not this librarian, or any librarian I know for that matter. Here is something you may not know: most of the librarians I know are super crafty. I know, shocking. Well, a librarian friend invited me to an earring demo at a local bead shop and I freaked out. I thought this was the best idea ever to make your own jewelry, but why hadn’t I thought of this sooner? I am not a super accessorized type of girl, however I did manage to include earrings with my outfit everyday. Anyway, I fell in love with making my own jewelry and got working right away and making more and more. I couldn’t stop. After about say 20 pairs of earrings, I realized I loved making them more then I could actually wear all of them. So, I started selling my wares!
Well, mostly earrings, at least that is where it started. My personal aesthetic tends to be a bit of an eclectic yet natural colorful style that I hope you will love. All of my pieces are one of a kind and handmade by me. In the future I really hope to expand my creations to include everything from metalwork, hair accessories to custom graphic design – so look for more variety in the future!
Of course! I’m happy to work with your ideas, color palates, and existing beads/items. Let me know what you have in mind and we can work something out.
Be sure to check me out in person if you are in North Carolina at a local craft fair, or perhaps an occasional appearance in Rochester, NY. Can’t wait for that? You can buy my stuff here 24 hours a day, 365.25 days a year (that’s right leap year, I didn’t forget you!), and I’ll ship it to you!
