Chapel Hill’s annual celebration of the arts boasts over 100 quality artists, live entertainment for all ages, hands-on activities, and local food. Chapel Hill residents and people from neighboring communities will have the opportunity to explore our booming local art scene supporting the artists that make our communities and local economy vibrant. Chapel Hills Festifall, Orange County’s premier outdoor event takes place along the tree lined streets of West Franklin Street in Downtown Chapel Hill and hosts over 15,000 attendees.

 

Come check out hoot creations here in Durham at the Durham Craft Market most Saturdays, weather dependant from 8am to noon. The market is located in Durham Central Park.

Don't miss hoot creations in Apex at the Apex Peak Fest on Saturday May 7th from 9am to 5pm.

On Saturday, May 7, 2011, Salem Street in historic downtown Apex will come alive! For more than thirty years, Peakfest has brought families together for a day of fun, food and fellowship. The event, which is referred to as an arts and crafts festival, has deep roots within the Apex community. What started as a small community day in a school parking lot has grown into an event that draws hundreds of vendors and over 15,000 people to the streets of downtown Apex.

Come check out hoot creations in Cary at Spring Daze Saturday, April 30th from 9am to 5pm.

The festival is filled with wonderful arts and crafts, your favorite festival foods, community based civic groups handing out information on things you can get involved with, and entertainment. Children will be delighted by activities just for them in the Children’s Village and will be invited to exercise their imagination as they play in the always popular Lazy Daze Playground – the center of the village. In the Earth Day area of the festival, you can find out how to play a role in preserving our natural resources and protecting the environment. This is the perfect family event to learn more about what you can do to make every day Earth Day.

Rain or shine. Free and open to the public. Durham Art Walk Spring Art Market is presented and produced by the Durham Arts Council.

 

The Nightlight Holiday Craft Show in Chapel Hill, December 18th, 2010 from 2pm to 6pm.
